Portfolio

I design, ship, and document AI-driven features and complex workflows. Below are selected projects; I’m happy to provide more detail or walk through any of these live.

AI Product & Strategy

Arena AI Assistant

AI Product Manager – Arena PLM (PTC)

Arena AI Assistant & 3-Year AI Roadmap

Problem: PLM/QMS customers needed faster ways to navigate complex workflows while respecting permissions, regulatory requirements, and security.

Role: Defined the 3-year AI roadmap; partnered with engineering, UX, and security on 0–1 features; collaborated with AWS/OpenAI/Anthropic; wrote prompts, gold datasets, eval criteria, and UX copy; co-authored AI principles and governance.

Solution: Permission-aware Arena AI Assistant for items, changes, and quality processes using RAG over help docs and product data; companion features for file summary/comparison and AI suggestions.

Impact: Shipped governed AI capabilities and clarified a multi-year roadmap for leadership and GTM.

AI Release Notes

Internal Tool – Arena PLM (PTC)

AI Release Notes & Docs Assistant

Problem: Release notes and help updates were time-consuming and relied on tribal knowledge.

Role: Designed an AI program that reads code diffs and Jira tickets, drafts release notes, maps changes to help topics, and surfaces documentation gaps; owned prompts, gold data, and eval loops.

Solution: Multi-step pipeline: ingest diffs and tickets → classify changes → draft user-friendly notes → map to help topics and suggest edits.

Impact: Reduced manual drafting time, improved alignment between product, docs, and support, and created a reusable pattern for AI automation.

Zelda PLM

Product Design

Zelda PLM UX Sandbox

Problem: Traditional PLM UX can feel rigid and opaque for non-experts.

Role: Designed a Zelda-inspired PLM prototype that turns inventory, quests, and workflows into an intuitive product knowledge system.

Solution: Playful UI that maps items, changes, and quests to PLM concepts, showing how narrative and visual metaphors can clarify complex workflows.

Impact: Demonstrates UX-first thinking for PLM/enterprise tools; sparks conversations on how to make regulated workflows approachable.

Developer Docs & Help Systems

API Modernization

Technical Writer → AI PM – Arena PLM

Arena API & Developer Help Center

Problem: Fragmented docs and inconsistent API semantics slowed integrations.

Role: Led migration from legacy DITA to web help; wrote API reference and conceptual guides; modernized APIs toward OpenAPI; owned in-app guidance via WalkMe.

Impact: Shorter onboarding, reduced support back-and-forth, and a strong base for AI-powered search/assistants over docs.

Release notes and onboarding

Product Team – Arena/Empower PLM

Empower PLM Documentation & Release Notes

Problem: Users needed clearer onboarding and release transparency across PLM/QMS.

Role: Developed API docs, tutorials, and release notes; structured content for reuse and localization; aligned terminology across UI and docs.

Impact: Better onboarding and consistent releases, setting up future AI-driven doc surfacing.

Courses & Learning Experiences

Responsible AI training

Instructional Designer & AI Ethics SME – Google

AI Ethics & Responsible Deployment Training

Problem: Engineering teams needed practical, scenario-based training on ethical AI.

Role: Designed self-paced modules and live content; translated principles into engineering decisions; collaborated with research, legal, and product.

Solution & Impact: Training that helped teams apply fairness, transparency, and accountability to real projects.
